TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Drip & Dough in Le Meridien Taipei Hotel is the new haven for workers seeking a delightful break, with over 160 sweet and savory options.
Drip & Dough opened in Xinyi District is the newest lunchtime destination catering to busy professionals. To accommodate after-work needs, takeaway lunch boxes will also be available.
The cafe opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays, and starting at 11 a.m., hot and cold snacks and lunch boxes can be ordered. The Yamagata toast, known for its dense and moist texture achieved through Lupin yeast fermentation, is a must-try.
For afternoon tea enthusiasts, the sea salt cream rolls, toffee hazelnut rolls, and cinnamon rolls are perfect companions to a relaxing break. The Boston Lobster Submarine Burger and BBQ Roasted Beef Sandwich are two options for a more substantial meal.
Drip & Dough has partnered with Cupping Room, a renowned Hong Kong coffee roasting brand celebrated as the "Champion of Coffee." This marks Cupping Room's debut in Taiwan in 2024.
Cupping Room's coffee beans are available for purchase. Additionally, coffee cream spiral bread, featuring a Levain dough base with a filling infused with Cupping Room's Attaboy coffee flavor, has only 10 servings daily.
Guests at Le Meridien Taipei's "Taste of Drip & Dough" room package can enjoy an additional perk – a combination of coffee and dessert for just NT$1 (US$0.031).
