TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — New Taipei Metro announced four indoor events to be held in stations along Ankeng LRT.
According to a New Taipei Metro press release on Tuesday (April 23), the first event is a baked goods market on April 27. Basque cheesecakes, French crepes, and wine-infused tiramisu will be sold, per CNA.
On May 4, a “little boss” second-hand market will be held to promote the spirit of cherishing blessings and love for items. Children will be allowed to become little bosses and sell their second-hand wares, the metro said.
On May 25, there will be a vegetarian-themed market, and on June 15, a plant-based foods market.
New Taipei Metro reported 2 million passengers as of 2024. The company said it hopes visitors can join in on the festivities.
