TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Meteorologist Daniel Wu (吳德榮) on Tuesday (May 14) predicted that lows in north Taiwan will dip to 15 C in the coming three days.
Wu said early Tuesday morning in Keelung's Qidu District lows dropped to 15.3 C and New Taipei's Ruifang District saw 15.4 C. Wu said skies are still cloudy in much of the country and occasional showers are possible in the north and some mountainous areas.
Wu said it would range from 15 to 24 C in the north, 18 to 30 C in central Taiwan, 20 to 33 C in the south, and 17 to 30 C in the east.
The meteorologist said the weather will be clear for six days starting Wednesday (May 15). Wu said there will be occasional scattered showers in the afternoon in mountainous areas of central and southern Taiwan.
During these six days, it will be hot during the day and cool in the morning and evening. Wu added from Wednesday until Friday morning lows in northern flatlands could be 15 C and lower.
