TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Three NT$10 million (US$310,000) Special Prize winners have yet to redeem their receipts for the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery.
As the winning numbers for the March-April draw of the receipt lottery are set to be announced on Saturday (May 25), the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Thursday (May 23) said there are still three unclaimed Special Prizes and five unclaimed NT$2 million Grand Prizes from the January-February round, per CNA. They must redeem their winning receipts before July 6.
The receipts for the unclaimed Special Prizes were issued at a gas station in Taoyuan's Taoyuan District, a parking lot in New Taipei's Tucheng District, and a FamilyMart in Kaohsiung's Cianjhen District. One of the winners spent NT$125 on a tobacco product at the FamilyMart Puyan Store on Zhangshui Road in Changhua County's Puyan Township.
The lucky Special Prize winner who spent the least and won the most paid an NT$60 parking fee at a parking lot on Jingcheng Road in New Taipei. Another winner paid NT$125 for gasoline at the CPC station on Zhongshan Road in Taoyuan.
The third Special Prize winner spent NT$246 on products at a FamilyMart on Guangxi Road in Kaohsiung.
The five unclaimed Grand Prizes include an NT$35 receipt for food at 7-Eleven on Minzu Road in Tainan City's West Central District, an NT$36 delivery fee issued by Uber Eats on Wuquan 5th Road in New Taipei's Wugu District, and an NT$136 invoice for goods printed by a department store on Zhongzheng Rd in Kaohsiung's Meinong District.
The other Grand Prize winners included a shopper who spent NT$721 at an RT-Mart on Bade Road in Taipei's Zhongshan District and a motorist who spent NT$800 on gasoline at a CPC station on Wenming Road in Hsinchu County's Qionglin Township.
The winning number of Special Prize for the January-February 2024 edition, also known as the uniform invoice lottery, is 16620962. The winning number for the Grand Prize is 50008017.
The winning numbers for the First Prize are 73705743, 90315047, and 10604429. If all the digits on a receipt match any of these three sets of numbers in the right order, the prize is NT$200,000.
If the last seven digits match, winners receive NT$40,000, if the final six digits are in the right order, they will receive NT$10,000, and if the last five digits are the same, then the prize is NT$4,000.
