TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A 7-Eleven customer who spent NT$39 (US$1.20) on a drink won the NT$10 million (US$310,000) Special Prize in the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery.
On Saturday (May 25), the Ministry of Finance (MOF) reported the winning numbers for the March-April round of the lottery. The winning number for the Special Prize was 44140251, the winning number for the NT$2 million Grand Prize was 14715309, and the three winning numbers for the First Prize were 86562747, 79171152, and 77925523.
Thus far, 7-Eleven has reported four Special Prize winners and two Grand Prize winners, per CNA. It also announced six NT$1 million winners from the cloud-based receipt lottery.
The 7-Eleven customer who spent the least and won the most purchased a drink for NT$39 at the Xiufa Store on Fanhua Road in Changhua County's Xiushui Township. The second-luckiest consumer bought ready-to-eat food for NT$50 at the Xiuhe Store on Guozhong Road in New Taipei's Yonghe District.
The third-luckiest consumer spent NT$51 on a drink at the Xinjianchang Store on Youchang Street in Kaohsiung's Nanzi District. The Special Prize winner with the largest expenditure made an NT$141 transaction on an ibon kiosk at the Maxue Store in Tainan's Madou District.
The Grand Prize winner who spent the least purchased NT$83 worth of ready-to-eat food, soy milk, and a drink at the Jingxin Store on Zhongzheng Road in Nantou County's Caotun Township. The other Grand Prize winner spent NT$1,090 on City Cafe coffee at the Danrong Store on Danrong Road in Pingtung County's Wandan Township.
The cloud invoice winner who made the smallest purchase bought a drink for NT$20 at the Ruiyang Store on Henan Road in Taichung City's Nantun District. The second-luckiest consumer bought a beverage for NT$28 at the Qiantang Store on Zhuangjing Road in Taoyuan's Guanyin District.
A customer at the Zhenmen Store on Kaiyuan Rd in Miaoli County's Zhunan Township purchased NT$207 worth of ready-to-eat food, drinks, and a shopping bag. Another consumer spent NT$219 at the Yangxin Store on Yishan Road in New Taipei City's Tamsui District.
The cloud invoice winner who spent the most purchased NT$252 worth of ready-to-eat food, City Cafe coffee, and drinks at the Dun'an Store on Anhe Road in Taipei's Da'an District.
