TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Acer’s subsidiary, Acer AI Cloud, announced Wednesday (June 26) its collaboration with Google Cloud to provide startups with a series of generative AI tools and cloud services.
In a press release, Acer AI Cloud executive Wang Chien-hsin (王建欣) said this year marks the third year of Acer AI Cloud’s involvement in the “Asia-Pacific Linkage International Cloud Services Project,” per CNA. The company will assist startups with implementing Google's Vertex AI cloud ecosystem.
Wang touted Acer’s experience from the project and reported the company has accumulated nearly 30 consulting cases, per UDN.
“Acer AI Cloud will support startups by organizing workshops, sharing practical case studies, facilitating technical exchanges, and offering mentorship,” Wang explained. “These efforts will help startups plan AI applications and solutions suitable for their products and services, creating more development opportunities both domestically and internationally,” he added.
Google Cloud Taiwan executive Tony Lee (李殷豪) said to ensure startups fully utilize Google Cloud’s AI technology, they will provide access to a global network of entrepreneurial resources and technical guidance and training for startups.
