TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — An EVA Air flight on route from Los Angeles to Taipei suffered from abnormal engine behavior mid-flight on Saturday (July 13) and was forced to return to LAX International Airport.
According to reports, EVA flight No. BR05 took off from LAX International Airport at 1:03 p.m. local time, but about three hours into the flight began experiencing problems with the right engine and was forced to return. The Boeing 777-300ER arrived safely back at LAX at 9:32 p.m., per ET Today.
EVA Air apologized to customers and said that it was ready to assist passengers with booking temporary accommodation and finding new flights to help them reach their destination.
