TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Chimei Museum said Thursday (Aug. 8) it will extend hours for its popular “Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London” exhibition in the final two weeks.
The museum will keep the galleries open until 8 p.m. from Aug. 19 to Sept. 1, except Wednesdays, to accommodate high demand. The show features works by 50 artists, including Raphael, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh, per Chimei Museum.
The museum will stop selling on-site tickets starting Aug. 19, except for visitors who couldn’t attend due to Typhoon Gaemi. Advance online ticket purchases are required.
Nearly 300,000 people visited the exhibition in the first three months. The museum expects the final two weeks to be the busiest, per CNA.
