TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A peach-flavored Slurpee will be introduced from Sept. 4 to Oct. 1 at 1,500 7-Eleven convenience stores in Taiwan.
Meanwhile, a limited Lala Mountain peach popping boba Slurpee will be launched on Sept. 18. This will mark the first chewable Slurpee, per CNA.
The Taoyuan City Government previously partnered with convenience stores to launch a peach-flavored soft-serve ice cream in June. This time, the two sides are collaborating again.
Taoyuan Mayor Chang San-Cheng (張善政) said Tuesday (Aug. 20) that the “Taoyuan Choice” online sales platform, launched in May, has continued to introduce seasonal high-quality agricultural products. This cooperation with convenience store operators will see the establishment of “Taoyuan Choice” at seven major national highway rest stops by the end of August.
Related products will also be listed in some 7-Eleven stores to promote high-quality agricultural products from Taoyuan.
