TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Acer announced Wednesday (Sept. 4) the arrival of its first gaming handheld Nitro Blaze 7 at a press conference in Berlin.
According to a Wednesday press release, the handheld is armed with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS chip and can be fitted with up to 2 TB of storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Equipped with a 7-inch Full HD IPS touch display, the Nitro Blaze 7 delivers fast response times with its 144 Hz refresh rate, per CNA.
Acer said to use Acer Game Space to browse one's game library on the handheld console for quick access and to add favorite games, per UDN. Acer Game Space is fully compatible with mainstream gaming platforms and offers three months of free PC Game Pass, allowing access to hundreds of high-quality PC games.
Acer also announced the expansion of its Copilot+ PC lineup, unveiling new AI laptops Swift 14 AI and Swift Go 14 AI, which are equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors and Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processors respectively. These laptops offer multifunctionality, advanced productivity, and longer battery life.
Other new products include the Predator XB273U F5 gaming monitor, Iconia X12 AMOLED tablet, and LED projectors featuring energy-saving technologies.
