TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A 7-Eleven customer who spent NT$35 (US$1.09) on a drink won the NT$10 million (US$313,000) Special Prize in the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery.
On Wednesday (Sept. 25), the Ministry of Finance reported the winning numbers for the July-August lottery round. The winning number for the Special Prize was 38039158, the winning number for the NT$2 million Grand Prize was 08276859, and the three winning numbers for the First Prize were 32110911, 84289408, and 13446901.
Six NT$10 million Special Prizes were awarded this round at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and PX Mart, per CNA. Among the luckiest winners, two consumers won the NT$10 million prize by purchasing bread and cookies for NT$35 each at 7-Eleven and FamilyMart, respectively.
In the latest draw, 7-Eleven issued four Special Prizes, two Grand Prizes, and four cloud invoice awards of NT$1 million. The lucky customer who spent the least and won the most was a consumer who bought bread for NT$35 at the Xintenglong Store on Wanshou Road in Taoyuan's Guishan District.
The second-luckiest consumer bought household items for NT$100 at the Yanping Store on Yanping Road in Miaoli County's Zhunan Township. The third-luckiest consumer spent NT$105 on a dairy product and a drink at the Fudouxin Store on Zhongyang Road in New Taipei's Xinzhuang District.
The Special Prize winner with the largest expenditure spent NT$110 on daily necessities at the Wujie Store in Yilan County's Wujie Township.
For the Grand Prize, one customer bought fresh food for NT$49 at the Jiafu Store in New Taipei's Xinyi District. Another consumer spent NT$145 on daily necessities at the Dingsheng Store in Taipei's Wenshan District.
The cloud-based receipt prize winner who spent the least and won the most bought a cup of City Cafe coffee for NT$60 at the Jiezhong Store in Taipei's Xinyi District. The second-luckiest winner spent NT$97 on ice cream and drinks at the Beishen Store in New Taipei City's Shenkeng District.
The third-luckiest winner bought a drink and tea eff for NT$92 at the Xinzhong Store in Taipei's Daan District. The cloud invoice winner with the largest expenditure spent NT$110 on City Caffe coffee and a drink at the Qingshui Store in Taichung's Qingshui District.
