TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Razer, a leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, unveiled a host of new gaming products at RazerCon 2024 on Sunday (Sept. 29).
Hosted by CEO Tan Min-Liang (陳民亮), RazerCon 2024 introduced a range of products equipped with Razer Sensa HD Haptics, a new laptop cooling accessory, and announced the highly anticipated release of Razer Synapse 4. The company showcased its commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming technology and immersion, while also highlighting its sustainability initiatives.
In keeping with Razer's commitment to sustainability, RazerCon 2024 was once again a carbon-neutral live stream, powered by renewable energy. Key updates to Razer’s #GoGreenWithRazer Sustainability Roadmap were also unveiled, which includes the reduction of the brand’s Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 86% and 65%, respectively for all Razer products shipped, according to the press release.
The company gave exclusive previews of new and upcoming product launches and a teaser for a new special project coming up in 2025 to mark the company’s 20th anniversary.
Key highlights included Razer Sensa HD Haptics, which bring tactile sensations to the Razer Freyja gaming cushion, providing an immersive gaming experience.
Razer Kraken V4 Pro marks the latest addition to the Kraken V4 line and offers advanced audio features, including Razer Sensa HD Haptics, Razer Chroma RGB, and an OLED Control Hub.
The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad is designed to optimize thermal management for laptops and features smart fan control and an airtight pressure chamber.
In a significant update, Razer announced that Intel Thunderbolt Share is available on all Razer Blade 18’s 2024 models. As the world’s first Thunderbolt 5 laptop, this feature allows users to connect two personal computers and share peripherals including a keyboard, mouse, or monitor, and transfer files at speeds up to 40gbps.
To mark its 20th anniversary in 2025, Razer will reintroduce the iconic Razer Boomslang mouse with a limited-edition run featuring upgrades.
