TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Work and classes will be canceled on Wednesday (Oct. 2) for every county and city in Taiwan due to Typhoon Krathon.
The Cabinet gave the cancellation notice just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 1). It includes work and school closures in every city and county including the outlying islands.
The closures mark the second day off for some southern areas. The Central Weather Administration said on Monday (Sept. 30) that the typhoon could affect Taiwan until Thursday morning (Oct. 3).
