TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Night tours to see the Queen’s Head rock in Yehliu Geopark, New Taipei, illuminated at night won both Muse Creative Awards in the United States and the French Design Awards, reports said Wednesday (Oct. 9).
The North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area organized the event during the evenings in June and July. The award-winning tours during the summer combined drones, fire, water, and laser projection to create a romantic and artistic atmosphere on land, in the sea, and in the air, organizers said.
The shows won the Muse gold award in the category for public events, and the French Design gold award for architectural design, outside lighting, and night views, per CNA.
As a response to the awards, visitors who take selfies near the rock will have a chance to win prizes themselves. During the period Oct. 10-23, they can go to the tourism information center to complete the necessary formalities to take part in a drawing after visiting the Yehliu Geopark.
