TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) announced Monday (Oct. 14) that it received the Diamond Supplier award from Canadian aerospace company Bombardier.

In a press release, the Taichung-based company said this year marks the fourth time it has received the award. It is one of only two aircraft manufacturing suppliers to receive this honor, per CNA.

The AIDC said its collaboration with Bombardier has spanned over 20 years since it began developing the aft fuselage section for Challenger 3500, Bombardier’s best-selling model. The awarded components include the aft fuselage, elevators, and rudders.

The AIDC said this award not only acknowledges its outstanding performance but also strengthens the long-term partnership with Bombardier. These accolades recognize the AIDC’s ability to meet client needs, deliver quality service, and provide high-quality products on time, it said.

The AIDC added that another client, a major British engine manufacturer, awarded the company “High-Performance Team Certificate” and “Most Improved Supplier of the Year” this year.
