TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The Taiwan Expo in Bangkok will present products and services from more than 170 Taiwan businesses later this month, reports said Wednesday (Oct. 30).
The event will take place Nov. 21-23 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, per CNA. Co-organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said the event will focus on the circular economy, travel and tourism, smart manufacturing, smart healthcare, smart lifestyles, health and sustainability.
The five previous editions of the Taiwan Expo in Thailand helped 919 Taiwan companies expand their market, attracting 169,000 visitors, and created business opportunities totaling US$317 million (NT$10.14 billion), according to TAITRA.
In 2023, Thailand was Taiwan’s 13th-largest trading partner, with two-way trade reaching US$16.2 billion. During the first three quarters of 2024, Taiwan had proposed 74 investment projects in Taiwan valued at a total of US$45.8 million, an increase of 24% from the same period in 2023.
