TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Following a relatively dry weekend, the likelihood of rain will increase, with morning temperatures falling below 20 degrees Celsius Wednesday thru Friday.
Seasonal northeasterly monsoon winds were likely to continue Sunday (Nov. 3), with only Keelung and northern coastal and mountainous areas facing showers, per CNA. However, after the weekend, rainy weather and strong winds would expand their reach.
A spot of relatively cold weather was expected to hit Taiwan from early November 6 until the morning of November 8, according to forecasters. The north of the country might just see temperatures drop to 20 C or lower.
Central and south Taiwan will record 21 C or 22 C, with coastal areas falling one or two degrees lower. The mercury will recover during November 8 as northeasterly winds weakened and the reach of rainy weather contracted.
