TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Central Weather Administration said a cold air mass will affect Taiwan from Thursday to Monday, with temperatures in northern regions dipping below 11 C.
The administration predicted scattered rainfall in northern and eastern Taiwan on Wednesday, with heavier rain expected in the north from Thursday, per CNA.
The coldest period will be Sunday and Monday, with northern temperatures ranging from 11 to 15 C. Southern temperatures will range from 15 to 22 C.
The cold front will weaken from early Monday. Daytime temperature in the north will be 21 C, with evening temperatures around 16 C.
A new cold air mass may arrive after next Wednesday. The strength and rainfall coverage will need to be monitored.
