TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The National Institute of Cyber Security said Wednesday that it joined the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise on Dec. 6.
The institute in a press release said since its establishment in January 2023, it has valued international exchanges and cooperation. It cited the US, EU, and Japan as close partners, per CNA.
Joining the forum not only signifies progress in cybersecurity but also creates opportunities for Taiwan to collaborate with the global community, the institute said. It now joins the ranks of the association’s 130 members to strengthen cybersecurity in the public and private sectors.
The institute will continue to work with international partners to address complex cybersecurity challenges, it added.
The forum was established in 2015 and is headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands. It aims to strengthen international cyber capacity building through exchanges among governments, non-governmental organizations, and businesses.
