TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The 2025 edition of Computex Taipei expects 1,400 exhibitors to illustrate the theme of “AI Next,” the Taipei Computer Association said Friday.
The latest edition of the annual global tech event has been scheduled for May 20-23. The main themes will be AI and Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, future mobility, and sustainable green energy, CNA reported.
AI is seen as the main driver behind Taiwan’s economic growth and positive export performance. Due to the rapid growth of demand for AI products, spending on AI servers and basic infrastructure is also increasing at a breakneck speed, the Taipei Computer Association said.
According to a study by Grand View Research, the global AI market was valued at US$3.86 billion (NT$127.05 billion) in 2023, with US$5.4 billion as the estimate for 2024. In 2030, the market is expected to total US$50.31 billion.
The previous edition of Computex, attracted 1,500 exhibitors and over 80,000 attendees, as well as top speakers from the world of tech.
