TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taipei 101 hosted a festival celebrating healthy living and sustainability on Friday to coincide with Valentine’s Day.
The event was titled “Green Power, Green Life” and was part-organized by Taipei First Girls High School and the school’s alumni association, reported UDN. The main host of the event was former model and Taipei 101 Chair Janet Chia (賈永婕), who dressed in the iconic green school uniforms worn by Taipei First High School Girls.
The festival was sponsored by the World Vision Organization and Taipei City Government to promote environmental awareness and academic achievement. The event featured a pop-up green marketplace, dubbed a “Vitality Market,” selling high-quality products, with 20% of all proceeds going to charities for underprivileged students.

Dance troupes and music groups provided entertainment, including performances from the Taipei First Girls High School marching band and drill team. The event also gave visitors the chance to share messages of love on the side of Taipei 101 for Valentine's Day, per UDN.
Janet Chia said that Friday’s marketplace and festival represented Taipei 101’s commitment to sustainability and ESG principles, reported Now News.
Chia commended the creative spirit of the Taipei First Girls High School students, who she thanked for making the event a success. Many of the products at the vitality market were designed by current and former students of the school.
