TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Navy announced the 2025 Dunmu Goodwill Fleet will set sail in March for a month-long voyage.
This year's fleet consists of the Cheng Kung-class frigate Cheng Ho, Kang Ding-class frigate Wu Chang, and the Pan Shi-class fast combat support ship Pan Shi. The fleet departs on March 7 and will make two-day stops at seven major ports: Kaohsiung, Anping, Magong, Taichung, Keelung, Suao, and Hualien, Liberty Times reported.
The ships will be open to the public for visits until March 22, when they set out to sea for long-range training.
Last year, the Dunmu Fleet included the Kang Ding-class frigate Dihua, Keelung-class destroyer Keelung, and the Pan Shi. Their voyage also began in Kaohsiung and stopped around the nation before departing for international waters. The ships visited Taiping Island and made port calls in Palau and the Marshall Islands before returning to Taiwan in late May.
