TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Thunder Tiger is showcasing its latest drone technology this week at Xponential Europe in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The drone maker’s lineup includes its latest aerial, land, and marine drones as well as first-person view (FPV) flight controller systems and gearboxes made in the US, per CNA.
Notably, Thunder Tiger debuted its new Tiger Road unmanned ground vehicle, per Anue. It has a maximum load capacity of 400 kilograms for transporting ammunition and fuel to frontline units and can serve as a mobile fire position.
Thunder Tiger explained that its drones can be equipped with an FPV system for remote attacks. This attack platform allows for asymmetric warfare, improving combat efficiency and ensuring a strategic advantage.
Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang (翁章梁), who led the Taiwanese participants, said the exhibition had 184 exhibitors from 33 countries and that Chiayi County has become an important hub for Taiwan’s “national drone team,” CNA reported.
He added that he hopes Taiwan can showcase its technological strength at this year's expo. Xponential Europe will be held from Feb. 18-20. More information can be found here.
