TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — With no winner of the NT$1.65 billion (US$50.37 million) prize Thursday, the Super Lotto (威力彩) jackpot is expected to rise to a record high for the current edition of the Taiwan lottery.
Super Lotto, also known as the Power Lottery, and Taiwan's most lucrative lottery, has now gone 33 draws in a row without a person winning the prize, per UDN. The next draw will take place on Monday at 8:30 p.m. when the jackpot is expected to swell to NT$2 billion.
To win the Power Lottery jackpot, a player must be able to match all six numbers from 1 to 38 in the first row of the ticket and the one number between 1 and 8 in the second section. The draws are held twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:30 p.m.
If a player wins the jackpot on Monday evening, it will be the largest Taiwan lottery prize since the fifth edition of the Taiwan lottery was launched on Jan. 1, 2024.
The winning numbers and the latest jackpot for the Super Lottery can be found on the Taiwan Lottery website.
