Taiwan Mobile CEO Lin Chih-chen (林之晨) explained that open-source models like Llama 3.3 have become more widespread and businesses are prioritizing AI security. Through its partnership with Phison, Taiwan Mobile is lowering the barriers to AI and creating tailored applications, he added
Phison CEO Pua Khein-Seng (潘健成) commented that generative AI is driving entrepreneurial reform. He praised Taiwan Mobile’s expertise in AI applications including its smart service M+ Messenger.
Phison is not only overcoming GPU memory bottlenecks, allowing businesses to deploy private AI systems at lower costs and higher efficiency, but also developing on-premise AI applications, he added.
