TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Precision components manufacturer Turvo said Friday that US President Donald Trump’s new tariffs have had no immediate impact on its operations.
Speaking at a press conference at the company’s new Wuqi plant in Taichung, Turvo Chair Liu Chun-chang (劉俊昌) said US business currently accounts for less than 2% of the company’s revenue. Nevertheless, Turvo will continue to monitor cost trends while focusing on branding and improving operational efficiency, per CNA.
Liu said the company expects revenue growth in the fourth quarter, driven by shipments of harmonic reducers used in humanoid robots. Meanwhile, its universal quick disconnect (UQD) fittings are positioned to enter the supply chain for Nvidia’s upcoming GB300 servers.
He added that production of the harmonic reducers remains on track for Q4, and the company is actively developing a full range of electric drive systems for AI robotics. These include planetary reducers for robotic fingers, rotary harmonic reducers, and cycloidal reducers.
For AI server cooling applications, Turvo is currently sampling its UQD fittings to both domestic and international clients. These fittings are designed for compatibility with Nvidia’s GB300 servers and could begin contributing to revenue within the year.
The company is also moving into hydrogen fuel cell and thermal management systems as it prepares for additional facility investments.
