TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Hardware manufacturer Adata said Thursday it has partnered with Gigabyte subsidiary Giga Computing to open a new server line in Brazil.
Adata said in a press release the line will support local production and assembly needs. It is designed to speed up supply times and offer customized specifications alongside fast service support, per CNA.
The New Taipei-based company explained that it entered the Brazilian market a decade ago, establishing production and marketing operations. It opened a factory in Sao Paulo in 2016 and expanded to Manaus in 2021, using fully automated production to ensure stable regional supply, per UDN.
Giga Computing said the partnership will strengthen the local supply chain in Latin America. It will improve delivery speed and flexibility, helping customers quickly deploy server systems while opening new business opportunities.
Adata Brazil Vice President Felipe Masselli said the company has cultivated the Brazilian market for many years and has played a vital role in the industry’s supply chain. “We believe this collaboration with Giga Computing will combine both sides’ top-tier technologies and product resources to inject new momentum into the Latin American server market,” he added.
Adata said it will deepen its collaboration with Giga Computing including memory and storage products to meet rising demand for AI.
