TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The South Korean K-pop girl group Twice on Sunday announced that Taiwan would be included in its world tour.
Twice revealed its “This is for” world tour will run from July 19 to Dec. 14, with stops in South Korea, Japan, Macau, the Philippines, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, per TVBS. They are slated to perform one show in Kaohsiung on Nov. 22 at Kaohsiung National Stadium.
This marks the first time Twice has performed in Taiwan since their debut 10 years ago. It is also the first time Taiwanese member Chou Tzu-yu (周子瑜), known by her fans as Tzuyu, will perform in her home country.

Recently, member Nayeon announced that she would be coming to Taiwan in July to attend the Kaohsiung Beer Rock Festival, leading to anticipation among fans of a performance by the full group. Rumors had been circulating in the industry as early as six months ago that Twice would be performing in Taiwan by the end of the year, with an application reportedly being made to use the Kaohsiung National Stadium, per ETtoday.
