TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Taipei Aerospace Defense Technology Exhibition will take place from Sept. 18–20 at Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1.
This year’s event will spotlight advanced defense systems and resilient supply chains, featuring more than 400 companies from 14 countries, including Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems, CNA reported. Domestic participants include the Taiwan Space Agency, Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation, and Thunder Tiger.
Local shipbuilders Jong Shyn and CSBC will make their debut at the show, highlighting unmanned surface vehicles and system integration — a significant step forward for Taiwan’s autonomous maritime defense capabilities.
Taiwan also plans to unveil two upgraded M60A3 tanks equipped with new fire control, targeting, and observation systems, as well as a 105 mm barrel. However, there are concerns the tanks may be too heavy for the venue.
