TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Experience the elegance and a decade of Michelin-recognized dining as Ye Shanghai celebrates its 10th anniversary with a limited-time promotion.
Ye Shanghai is a brand under the Elite Concepts hospitality group, which was founded in 1991 by Paul Hsu (徐保羅). Elite Concepts has a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, and clubs, with Hsu credited for revitalizing Hong Kong's Lan Kwai Fong district with his innovative dining concepts in the 1990s.
With locations in Taipei, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the brand has consistently earned Michelin recognition, accumulating 16 stars over 15 consecutive years, including a two-star rating in 2012.
Opened in 2015, the Taipei branch has become a top choice for family gatherings. Its extensive menu is based on the rich, flavorful, and vibrant traditions of Shanghainese benbang cuisine, enhanced with flavors from the Su and Zhe regions to create a diverse culinary experience.

The restaurant's interior replicates the romantic elegance of 1920s Shanghai, featuring beautiful chandeliers, refined furniture, and plush velvet seating to create an atmosphere of understated luxury.
Diners should not miss the restaurant's signature dishes, including the classic pan-fried pork buns with their golden, crispy exterior and succulent, flavorful filling. The spicy Sichuan-style goose web is rich in collagen and incredibly tender, offering a bold and aromatic kick. The crispy, golden salt and pepper fried yellow croaker is packed with fresh, savory flavor.
In September, the restaurant is offering a 12% discount on 10 selected a la carte dishes, including the signature pan-fried pork buns, spicy goose web, and scallion-flavored abalone noodles.
Additionally, every table that dines in will receive a complimentary Chakeli x Marou tea-infused chocolate that come in three flavors — Pu'er, jasmine, and chrysanthemum.
