TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan Railways Corporation on Monday announced four guided tours highlighting the history of Taipei Main Station.
The tours are titled “Taipei Main Station Tour” and “Taipei Main Station – Beimen: A Walk Through Taiwan’s Railway History and Culture,” per CNA. Professional guides will lead groups to explore the station’s hidden stories and surrounding railway heritage.
TRC said there will be four sessions between November and December: the “Taipei Main Station Tour” on Nov. 8 and Dec. 6, and the Beimen route on Nov. 22 and Dec. 20. Each session is limited to 20 participants, with registration opening in phases starting Oct. 29.
To mark its 137th anniversary, TRC previously held similar walks for internal staff, Railway Police Bureau employees, and their families. Those tours filled instantly, reflecting strong interest.
