Economic Affairs Vice Minister Lai Chien-hsin (賴建信) said Taiwan’s installed green energy capacity surpassed 22 GW as of August. Achieving net-zero will require regulatory reforms and financial incentives, he said.
The expo brought together 450 domestic and international companies across nearly 1,600 booths, showcasing energy-saving technologies and carbon credit trading. About 20% of exhibitors are foreign, with over 700 international buyers from 57 countries attending.
Organizers said the event aims to highlight Taiwan’s commitment to sustainable energy while connecting global buyers with cutting-edge technologies.
