TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Nvidia Corporation founder and CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) invited top executives from Taiwan’s technology sector to a dinner in Taipei Saturday.
The event was dubbed a “trillion-dollar banquet” by the Taiwan media due to the high total net worth of the business leaders present, per UDN. The attendees represented companies part of Nvidia’s supply chain.
Before entering the restaurant, Huang told reporters that he had high expectations from his business partners in Taiwan, as 2026 was a “gigantic year,” per the Liberty Times.
The guest list for the dinner included Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Chair C.C. Wei (魏哲家), Foxconn Technology Chair Young Liu (劉揚偉), Quanta Computer Chair Barry Lam (林百里). Other top executives represented Acer, Asustek, MediaTek, Wistron, Inventec, and about two dozen other household names from the country’s technology sector. Huang said he would attend another dinner Sunday with the TSMC leadership.

Huang’s current four-day visit to Taiwan also featured an appearance Friday evening at the yeat-end party for Nvidia Taiwan staff. His stay had been reported as including the signing of a land surface rights agreement with the Taipei City Government for the construction of the AI company’s Taiwan headquarters.
The building was planned for the Beitou-Shilin Technology Park, while on Friday, Huang gave a cautiously positive response to speculation that Nvidia might be looking for a second headquarters in the city.
